The cars turn east on 56th Street, operating in the grass center median. The route continues east through the Civic Center, Retail District, the new Harborpark Neighborhood, Southport Marina, to Celebration Point in Harborpark adjacent to Lake Michigan. The route turns north for two blocks, and then continues west on 54th Street past the Museum Complex, City Hall, and Kenosha Transit's new downtown Transit Center. The cars operate in the curb lane of 54th Street between 8th Ave. and 11th Ave., to the METRA Commuter Rail Station.

Six of the cars are PCC Cars built in 1951 by Canadian Car and Foundry with materials supplied by the St. Louis Car Company. The cars were built for the Toronto Transit Commission, and operated in Toronto until 1995. The cars were rebuilt by Toronto in 1989-1991. Following their purchase by Kenosha, the cars were re-trucked and refurbished. The cars kept their former TTC numbers and each is painted to represent one of the cities in the United States that operated PCC streetcars. TTC 4617 and SEPTA 2185 (St. Louis Car Co, 1948), formerly at East Troy, WI, are now part of the Kenosha fleet.

The line includes 18 stops. In the central business district, stops are located every block; elsewhere the cars stop approximately every two blocks.
