Route
Streetcars run on two lines, the NS Line and the CL Line. The first, the NS Line, is a 4-mile one-way route from Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital at NW 23rd Avenue, on Lovejoy and Northrup, through the Pearl District and on 10th and 11th Avenues to SW Mill and SW Market Streets, Portland State University Urban Center, SW Harrison Street, RiverPlace, OHSU, the Aerial Tram and to a terminus at SW Lowell & Bond at the South Waterfront District. The second, the CL Line, is a 4.65-mile one way route from SW Market along 10th and 11th to the Pearl District, across the Broadway Bridge, along Broadway, Weidler, 7th, MLK and Grand to the Rose Quarter, Lloyd District, Convention Center, Central Eastside and OMSI.

Vehicles
Streetcar vehicles carry a sardine load of up to 140 passengers, are air-conditioned and have a low-floor center section with full handicapped accessibility. Our fleet of ten streetcars were manufactured in the Czech Republic by Skoda-Inekon in Plzen.

Stops
A total of 46 stops are located along the NS Line, and 49 stops along the CL line. Stops are located about every 3-4 blocks. In March 2002, streetcar arrival system was installed at most stops and on the Internet. This GPS tracking system allows our customers to check at the stop reader board and on the Internet to find out when the next Streetcars will arrive.

Times
Monday-Friday 5:30am to 11:30pm,
Saturday 7:15am to 11:30pm
Sunday 7:15am to 10:30pm


Frequency
The streetcar runs approximately every 14 minutes on the NS Line and 17 minutes on the CL Line on weekdays between 9:30am and 6:30pm. Before 10:00am & after 7:30pm the trains run every 15-21 minutes on the NS Line and every 20-22 minutes on the CL Line. Saturday service is every 17 minutes between the hours of 9am and 8pm with morning and evening service every 17-20 minutes. Sunday service is every 20 minutes.
